From the suburbs of Lisbon to the stages of Coachella, Holly has spent the last decade quietly blowing open the boundaries of bass music. A shapeshifter by nature, he’s just as comfortable crafting club experiments as he is producing for global rap royalty like CL, Slow J, or Jay Park.

Whether he’s linking with Baauer on a Grammy-nominated album or launching a future-facing supergroup like VIER alongside Machinedrum, Thys, and Salvador Breed, Holly’s work speaks to a restless creative vision. One that never stays still for long.

Fresh off an appearance on our Adrenaline series, we caught up with the Portuguese-born, LA-based producer to talk origin stories, global influence, studio rituals, and why collaboration is still at the heart of his sonic universe.

Ever versatile Dutch producer Waeys invites along a couple of friends for his latest dancefloor-primed drum & bass offering for Critical Music.

Title track ‘Arrivata’ sees Waeys link with fellow new school leader, Gino, who brings his manic, trademark energy along for a bone crushing, double distorted smasher, featuring one of the hardest drum rolls you’ll ever hear.

Waeys goes it alone on ‘Dredge’, unloading his insane sound design skills over a tightly wound drum groove and bustling percussion for a satisfyingly weird sonic slugger.

Last, but not least, fresh talent Cosmo gets involved on ‘Let Off’, shutting things down with a moody slice of minimal jump up, dominated by an off-kilter, chattering bassline that gleefully chews you ear off.

A producer who, unbelievably, only began making D&B just a year and a half ago. His skills have evolved fiercely in the past few months and he is now proudly presenting these 5 sonic soundscapes, each expressing their own distinct individuality, but collectively demonstrating phenomenal production talent.

From the soulful mood evoking melodies of "Feel You" with its subtle warm bass & undertones of melancholy.
