Bio:
Swim are an English electronic band comprising of Joe & Rich, two multi-instrumentalists based in Brixton, South London.

Outside, surrounding their Brixton studio, echoes of the night’s headliners, guys playing steel drums to make some change, running battles and couples snatching hurried kisses in the street have all had their effect on the music.

Swim craft a compelling sound combing new wave electronics, stunning songwriting, and Joe’s endearing, captivating vocal.

A love for Talking Heads, Bowie and Tom Tom Club fuses with lush shoegaze melodies and a dance sensibility to bring us the Ride EP; two moments of pure electro-pop perfection that set this band apart as an extraordinary new prospect.

Originally hailing from somewhere boring in Surrey, and meeting by chance at school, they bonded after discovering a mutual disinterest for Maths and a burgeoning love of music; Skulking off from class the numerically challenged duo found that Rich's love of rock and Joe's love of electronic music formed an unlikely but complimentary equation even they could calculate.

Both slickly produced by super-hot London techno-bod Attaque, A-side Ride is an autumn postcard from a summer fling whilst Hold On is the apprehensive excitement having met someone new.

Swim will take to the road with a full band for their first live shows in winter 2012.

Swim are back with 'Creeper', the second single from the London based two-piece. It follows Ride, their debut single which was loved by Artrocker, XFM, BBC 6 Music and Time Out. autoKratz man David Cox takes on co-production duties.

Creeper is an extraordinary display of electronic pop songwriting; Joe and Rich Swim at their most infectious; a compelling sound combining new wave electronics and Joe's endearing, captivating vocal.

Creeper

In the last twelve months, SWIM have evolved from a studio project into a passionate, four- piece collective. They self-released and self-produced three singles (and the accompanying videos) and, with the line-up cemented, began a series of gigs culminating in a headline show at the Camden Barfly at the end of the year.

As well as catching the attention of Nike, Sky, Topshop, H&M and more, they've had features in the likes of Time Out, Les Inrocks and Artrocker ("New Blood 2014") all without the support of a major label. With the prospect of a stack of new releases and headline gigs already booked; 2014 promises to be even busier.
