The Regime is a music-collective formed in 2017 by brothers Liam and Matt Stacey, and Ziggy Tockuss, brought together in a communal squat-house in Sydney’s inner-west

Following a series of divine offerings and psychedelic promptings, the trio legitimately rented an abode tagged as the first of many ‘Regime HQ’s’, intentionally established as a breeding ground for all things funky

“We are the Regime! You are the Regime! bound to the Regime by the Regime… F#*k the Regime!” - The Regime

The trios pledge for an all-inclusive-collective of ‘nothing but front-men’ posed as an open invitation for a vast array of professional musicians and aspiring entertainers such as Centrelink anarchists, narcissistic-rap-Casanova’s, gypsy-divas, schizophrenic-disco-priests, PC-conventionalist-hippies, 9-5er party-people, and anti-religious-stoic-socialists, all cast of the most eccentrically imposing dispositions.. All welcomed into the house of funk!

Inspired by the Beatles, Motown & P-Funks assembly line of sound, and the sonic attitude of 90s hip hop, producer/singer Liam Stacey has recorded a collective of 45+ musicians, producing and mixing almost all of the groups catalogue of music out of his bedrooms, including 2020s break out single Never Gonna Stop, which lead to the ‘vintage concept’ project ‘Pro Uno’. 
The Regime has toured with a record number of 27 musicians, playing Festivals such as Byron Blues Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Party in the Paddock etc
