Everything is made up of vibration. In music and sound, you can hear this vibration. The amount of vibrations per second (frequency) determines the pitch of the tone. Sound and music can be heard within a certain pitch (frequency range). Your body and energy system also resonate at a certain frequency.

Why is tuning at 432 Hz much more natural than at 440 Hz? My interpreted and summarised theory:

The earth revolves around the sun in a year. If you were to calculate this with vibrations per second, you would get a very low tone. This tone or vibration is absolutely inaudible with our ears. This frequency is also known as Ohm. Therefore, Ohm is said to be the sound that originated from the Big Bang or is the origin of the Big Bang. If you want to make this tone audible, you can raise it by an octave each time (An octave is a doubling of the sound (7 notes higher on the piano in a normal scale)). If you do this 32 ×, i.e. 32 octaves higher, you get the tone 136.10 hz. This is a low C# on the piano.

This tone also corresponds to the frequency of your heart chakra (energy pathway around your heart).

If you continue calculating from that C#, you arrive at A4=432.10 Hz. In short: 432 Hz is derived from the Universal sound of the Earth's yearly rotation around the sun. So this is much more natural and logical than 440 Hz. Therefore, 432 Hz feels much more beneficial to your body, comes in softer and soothing.

432 Hz enters your heart and then goes on to the rest of your body (your head), while 440 Hz enters much more into your head (forehead chakra) and so this also keeps you in your head.

If we tune all music to 432 Hz, everyone will live much more in their heart and less in their head. That is my experience.

Furthermore, 432 Hz also has a more beneficial effect on the chakras. 440 Hz works on the forehead chakra, "thinking", while 432 Hz works on the heart chakra, "feeling". Listening to music in 432 Hz therefore accelerates the music lover's spiritual development, although the pace of this is different for everyone.

You will know 'Beauty Never Fades' unless you have been living under a rock for many years. What started off being played by Sasha who played it right throughout his Airdrawndagger tour, soon became a highly sought after track unlike most others of 2002.  A spacial Progressive House groove controls the track which features the vocals of Saffron, formerly of Republica and also known from her work along with Tarrentella (DJ/Producer).

Having launched 2016 with his 'Octavia' EP, Lost & Found boss Guy J returns home to kick start 2017, with a new double-header born out of moments in time, inspiration and a quest for a specific sound. 

"MDQ is named after the airport code of Mar Del Plata in Argentina," says Guy. "I played there with John Digweed earlier this year at MUTE. It's a party on the beach and, for me, was the best I've been to in my life and not just as a DJ." 

MDQ beautifully recreates and projects the warmth of the sun, uplifting vibes and postive energy that Guy felt on the sand that day. Its melodic charm and passionate delivery lifts the listener, transporting them to that most southern of shores. 

Diagonal, on the flip, was born more out of necessity. "I needed something with a transitional feel for my sets. A track that would allow me to segue to the next part, up the tempo and deliver a more groovy and seductive magic." 

Another delicious brace from the Lost & Found boss and a perfect selection to soundtrack the new year.
