If you have ever played some keys and chords on an organ, you know it has an unbelievable rich and warm sound and a power that can easily fill a whole song. With that idea in mind we started Organ. It took us quite a while to find the right sound and still added a good amount of color, drive and lots and lots of LFO modulation until we were satisfied. We simply had to make sure it goes into your ear and from there directly under your skin. Needless to say, we even split the organ into different voices with different variations. Finishing the song probably took us half a dozen versions and a lot blood, sweat and tears. But our emotional rollercoaster finally paid off and is now captured inside the song.

ORGAN

Imagine someone jogging in the wood. It is break of dawn. The fog is slowly lifting. Silence is all around him. He is all alone and just his heavy breathing is heard. You can smell the suspense in the air and you know something is going to happen. That is where Analog starts, playing nothing but a vibrant bass sound recorded on our Korg MS-20. But then our Lead-Monsters are slowly creeping up your chest, tie you up with their very own groove and then disappear as if it never happened. Writing Analog was one of these magical moments in the studio, when we have the whole song in our head even before one loop is arranged.

Analog

Bardem is all about that hypnotizing lead, playing almost throughout the whole track. And since we like simple track ideas it just plays a few chords with slight filter automations, accent changes and a subtle delay. But still, or maybe because of that, it simply grabs the listener from the very first moment it appears and keeps reality unplugged until it fades with the last bar of the song. During that time you could be anywhere between a 90ties Warehouse Rave in Chicago, a festival somewhere around the world a few years ago or at Panorama Bar this Sunday morning.

And just when you think you are losing it the bass line grabs you and lifts you back up onto the shoulders of that classic Techno groove carrying you over the dance floor!

"Berlin Noize" is the audiovisual soundtrack to the nocturnal atmosphere of the metropolis in the year 2020.

The city's tangle of harshness, dirt and noise, which otherwise breaks the darkness, abruptly falls silent in March. TRU. develops the subdued noise as the musical core of his new album and shows how multifaceted and graceful this sounds.

At the same time the artist _4.x documents the illumination of closed club doors, lonely moving stairs in harsh lights and empty streets lit by shop windows. Moments in which the Berlin pulse stops.

Both of their creations form the complete works „Berlin Noize“.
