Panorama Bar resident and Love On The Rocks label head Paramida joins us for the 92nd edition of the Phonica Mix Series. 

Since moving to Berlin in 2010, Paramida has since become a key figure in the cities ever-expanding electronic music scene. In 2014 she launched her Love On The Rocks label which has seen releases from Massimiliano Pagliara, Telephones, Fantastic Man, Elles, Violet, Alex Kassian and more.  

Having spent five years working at Oye Records, Paramida is certainly no stranger to digging. Each of her varied DJ sets brings a new beacon of pleasure and surprise. Blending proto-house to trance, percussive gems with high-energy techno, Italian dream house and irresistible new beat. Sounds that are very much reflected in this here recording. Paula's energetic sound is mirrored across her own productions (with releases on Rhythm Section, Permanent Vacation, Planet Trip Records and more), as well as her radio shows on Worldwide FM and Milan's Radio Raheem and we're excited to be welcoming her to Dimensions this summer with a debut appearance for our 10th anniversary celebrations.

For @eliasmazian, music is a time capsule - a form of transport to somewhere safe and secluded away from every day worries. It is a way for the Dutchman with Moroccan roots to express his deepest emotions and connect the music of his childhood with contemporary sounds from around the world. He showcased this with us at Dekmantel Connects back in 2021 and always in the music he makes. 

He crafts a moody and atmospheric start to this week's podcast with melancholic melody over languid beats. There's then a slow shift to the dance floor before party-starting house jacks your body with plenty of hands-in-the-air pianos and ever more pumping basslines. It's a high-energy selection that wears its heart proudly on its sleeve.

Although never doing so, Roza Terenzi is one of the finest examples we have now of such a complete artisan. This Aussie managed to carve her space amidst connaisseurs and punters alike with a fine blend of eclectic boldness and vibrant presence, which is everything that fuels her fantastic productions, but is exactly what informs her approach to selection, where she constructs enthralling sets such as this one that crowns our current Gop Cast. A very timely one if we remember that, in these times of social distancing, it is quite heartwarming to know that someone from all the way across the world can make us all feel closer by the sheer power of music.
