We are very proud to confirm the release date and full tracklisting for the debut album from Maztek. Three Point Zero will be arriving on 15th December!

Based around the concept that we as a species have come to a point in our own evolution where man, machine and spirituality have all merged together, Maztek’s aptly named ThreePointZero explores the relationship between the real and the cyber world.

Featuring an array of well-chosen collaborations of both vocalists and producers alike – such as Dutch hip hop crew Dope D.O.D, Hardware / Virus’s BTK, Viper’s Insideinfo, Ram’s Audio, Italian new blood Disprove and vocalist MC Coppa. Maztek has created a cogent and extremely innovative long player that once again proves why DnB will never die.

The album will be available on 3xLP, digipak CD and digital formats. Also look out for exclusive album bundle deals avilable only from the Hardware store.

With over a decade of providing the most cutting edge drum and bass the genre has produced, and after putting out monstrous release after monstrous release on the world’s leading drum and bass label Ram Records, Audio has cemented himself as one of the world’s all time heavyweights. Whether it be playing to crowds of 15,000 people at festivals such as Rampage, or at an intimate, local club, there is one thing that Audio is renowned for and that his trademark dark sound and ability to fuse elements from all ends of the spectrum and make it sound as nasty as possible.

The first track is no exception. The sinister tones of ‘Now the Future’ set in and grab hold, taking you into the mind of Audio’s twisted vision of the future. Percussive elements tick away under petrifying atmospheres, building up into an unstoppable bassline offensive. Perfectly executed pitched up drums rhythms cut through delivering an onslaught of dancefloor carnage leaving no escape.

And next up is ‘Drop It Human’. Kicking off, spine chilling and twinkling blips immerse you into the twilight zone. As the main lead filters into the build, the track thrusts into a sonic array of growling mids and low end sub grit, delivering a devastating blow. Audio’s precise, sharp, stepped trademark drum sound forms the backbone, marching the track through to inhuman perfection. 

Audio yet again sets the bar with two monstrous cuts that are set to dominate the clubs and festival circuit in 2016. Audio consistently shows the world that he is an unstoppable force to be reckoned with no signs of stopping and the momentum keeps on building up. This is ‘Now the Future’ and ‘Drop It Human’.

Since releasing his last full-length LP S.P.Y has filled mountains of hard-drives with sketches, VIPs, bootlegs and tear-out weapons for his regular top spots on drum & bass line-ups across the world. With a clear vision ahead, he’s selected the best of the bunch for a triple hit of ‘Alone In The Dark’ EPs. The second chapter, ‘EP:2’ is a flawless unfolding of his genius that once again cements S.P.Y as a leading member of the Hospital Records roster.

Opening with pure S.P.Y production is ‘Termination’, an eerie tale through slow build-ups and that thick, menacing S.P.Y sub buzz. A trickling lead piano matches up with old-school powerhouse vocals in ‘Get Up’. Snow crunched lightly under his paws as he made his way across the forest floor in the still darkness. Faint light from the pale moon penetrating the depths of the woods occasionally rippled across his fur as he moved stealthily towards the perimeter. The fur around his mouth carried the stains of the many carcasses those pointed teeth had torn into as their dark-tinted red warmth slipped away beneath his fearsome frame. His blood appetite freshly sated, it was time to return to his brothers. The torn and broken light of the forest’s horizon spread across his good eye, that portal to the open plains and the mountains beyond. Smells of the forest’s life and the subtle sounds of the slowly beating hearts of its hibernating inhabitants surrounded him, each distinctly offering the promise and debt of the food they would become with the cyclic melt. His iris shrunk as he padded out into the pure white snow plain, their god, the mountain, towering above in all of its bleak awe. A frozen gust blew across his fur, carrying with it the sound of the distant bloodhowl of his kind, a twisted mournful note full of rage that resonated with his instinct, triggering adrenaline and flooding his form with anger. Quickening his pace, he darted for the pack, lips curled back against fangs that would soon let another pathetic usurper’s lifeforce spill onto nature’s coldest of blankets. The lair of the Wölfe lay ahead, his kind... connected in cruel mortality.
