This is the second song that I ever made, dating back to early 2020. I put the mic down for a minute to focus on where I wanted to take my life after highschool. I actually didn't end up doing anything with it. No college, no big job. Floated around part time in the fast food industry for a bit. My outlook on the world at this time led me to become very selfish, and negative. What I learned from those experiences is to know that you are not the only soul that inhabits this planet. Don't take things for granted. As the late 80's band Cinderella claimed "You don't know what you got, till its gone."

On the picture for this song we have Billy Corgan, from "The Smashing Pumpkins". One of my many idols. My favorite song by The Smashing Pumpkins is called "Soma".

One Of Us

This song is 3rd of the many songs I've made. This dates back to early 2020. And this is where I stop numbering them in these descriptions. Everything from here on out will just be in a rough chronological order.

The title of this song is a play on Metallica's "Low mans Lyric", one of my dads favorite bands. 

The beginning, and chorus of this song was written by my dad. Who is only prominent this one time throughout my journey into the music world. As a challenge to myself I had asked him to write some lyrics about anything he wanted, and that I would then turn them into a song. Since this was a time of winter, and the holidays had just passed, he decided to write about frosty the snowman. Far from the jolly song we all know and love, we turned it into a song about cocaine. I went on to write about having too much snow, and then overdosing near the end. My knowledge on drugs wasnt very well versed during this section of my life, I had no idea what I was talking about.

Always test your limits. If you're too comfortable, then you're doing something wrong. The goal is to evolve from the negative aspects of your life, not to find comfort in them. Running little experiments like this to test your song structure ability can contribute to better results on future projects. Have fun with what you're passionate about, don't push yourself to the point of burn out. Know the difference between motivation, and discipline (motivation= a feeling of being ready / motivated to preform a task. Discipline= preforming a task regardless of being certain, ready, or feeling unable. It's almost a sacrifice to do things when you don't want to do them. No REAL reward comes without sacrifice.) Learning the proper mental mechanics can aid you in the process of doing something creative. Its just as important as learning about the process in which you are expressing your creativity.

The song art I chose for this track is from the movie "Edward Scissor Hands". Directed by Tim Burton (one of my favorite directors). And played by Johnny Depp (one of my favorite actors).

To be labeled a monster and cursed with breaking everything you touch, but in reality being so full of love and compassion.

The picture on this song is a very rare picture in We Are history. I used to put myself into this character to play We Are. He had pink sunglasses. It never stuck.

Me forcefully plucking at strings and singing. 

My friend since birth was present during the making of this. It started off with them sitting in a corner plucking at an old acoustic guitar my dad passed down to me. They wrote a big chunk of the song. We loaded up band lab and took turns plucking until we got it, and then sang over top of it. I cherish and look back on moments like this quite frequently. 

The picture to this song is an old picture of me and said friend, I think we were in jr high during the time this picture was takin. Way before We Are was even a thought. Back then I was only an enjoyer of music, skating down the block with headphones in.

Beyblade: Metal Fury... the picture I chose for this track. I spent a lot of time playing with Beyblades as a kid, and often think about all the late nights me and my friends spent letting it rip.
To have such an imagination again.

A collection of throwaways, unfinished snippets, and tracks that did not make the cut. Here you will find old music from the very beginning of We Are. Possibly. It may be him. Maybe. Could be. Might be. This is something he might have wanted to do as a way to be open to all of those who cherish, love, and become apart of him. From the very bottom of his heart he might want to say thank you. And he loves every single one of you. Never doubt yourself. Be the truest version of you. For that is all We Are.

Everything here has been put into chronological order and is the complete history of We Are. To those of you taking the time to listen and read every song description, I thank you. You might find some easter eggs while scrolling this page, or things that I may have never talked about in a public setting. I am making this page as of February 19th, 2024.  I wanted this to be available for those of you interested while I still have the time.
