Made entirely in Ableton, aside from the sample from the film "Before Sunrise". @spychiatrist assisted with sound design, bass + drums, ableton usage.

Answer

Mostly modular. Chord into disting mk4 delay. Filtered noise into a bitcrusher then wasp filter then Clouds. OP-1 for the bit of melody. All voices into Erbe-verb. Hermod coordinating Chord and clocking Tides for modulation of various filter and Cloud parameters.

the background sound is Qu-Bit Chord going through, Zvex Lo-fi Junky, Mutable Instruments Chords, and sidechain compression. sidechain is tied to the kick drum, whether or not it is audible. bass from Mother32.
the foreground is Rings, sequenced by Hermod, a selection of notes with midi effects for Arpeggiation and a Euclid rhythm generator. The ramp from slow lead notes to fast lead notes is me increasing the number of steps of the euclid while keeping the length constant.

I am modulating the Rings strike parameter with a Sample and Hold triggered by the same gate that plays the note, giving it a random strike location each time. Rings is going into Mutable Instruments Ripples, and I am using the same S&H filter, but attenuated, to control the cutoff of the LPF of ripples.
At the end of the track, after bringing down percussion and reducing the number of steps in the euclid rhythm, i started live-tinkering with the Brightness and Damping parameters of Rings,
