The Bee and Snail

My new track ‘Shy’. This song was written, recorded and produced by myself using my acoustic guitar and an 80s synthesiser. It is one of my most minimally produced tracks (at least until the final chorus). I often tend to throw in any extra harmonies and elements that I can at my song but this one just kept rejecting them. Sometimes it’s nice just to let the melody speak for itself but it can be kind of scary from a production point of view as there is nowhere to hide. A good portion of this song is just me and my guitar which, despite classifying myself as a folk singer, is actually quite rare in my discography. I really hope it works and I hope you enjoy it.
