This mixtape was built around the idea of really pushing sound design within the electronic music industry with a vision to inspire other artists to drive towards getting out of their comfort zone and shape a new path for the Future Bass and VaporTwitch community. I aim towards influencing others to do the same and create a new meaning towards what is possible with today's electronic music.

A couple years ago, Flume released a collection of samples in a pack titled "Flume Sounds".  Our latest release is a SC & YT exclusive, an idea that stemmed from one of those samples. Both of these talented producers brought their unique sounds and mutual inspiration from that pack together, the result created a floating vibe that still manages to punch you in the face.

  Ukiyo is a Japanese term that originally expressed the Buddhist idea of the transitory nature of life. During the Edo period, the character meaning “to float” was substituted for the homonym meaning “transitory” to express an attitude of the joys of living. In its modern usage, the term ukiyo is used to refer to a state of mind emphasizing living in the moment, detached from the difficulties of life.~ the internet
