'For the 30th release of Infinite Depth, no one less than Brian Cid makes his debut on the label. The American bred and Berlin based producer has a very impressive discography and shows his darker side through this 'Rise To The Fifth' EP. The collection includes three storytelling originals with terrestrial atmospheres, guiding you to an unknown dimension.

The EP starts off with 'Alma De Monte', which means mountain soul. Around the organic kick and percussion, spacious elements are taking shape. Throughout the track these elements are generating a rising tension, which gets strengthened by a screaming sound of the mountain's soul. 

The next stop towards the unknown dimension is 'Mar Adentro'. The intergalactic, but still organic atmosphere gives you the feeling of being surrounded by a world bigger than ours. The earthy sawing synth in combination with the trippy higher details, makes you keep your feet on the ground, but brings your head into that mysterious and infinite world.

'Rise To The Fifth' gives you that extra push into the unrevealed fifth dimension. A dimension which a human mind is not capable of imagining. The stronger lower part of the track and celestial aspects are creating this journey toward the fifth. When arrived an unidentifiable sound welcomes you.'

'Having previously released on Eskimo with Middle Sky Boom, Eliezer teams up with fellow Tel Aviv producer Asaf Sanzer, aka Rina, on new track 'San Sebastian'. 

Recalling the likes of Red Axes and Curses ‘San Sebastian’ filters Middle Eastern melodies through post punk, house, disco and techno to create a track that could equally soundtrack a beach party in Tel Aviv or a Goth basement club in Leeds. Complementing the original are remixes from recent Eskimo signings Radial Gaze and Tel Aviv producers Jenia Tarsol, Asaf Samuel and Uriah Klapter. 

Russian duo Radial Gaze turned heads with their dark, EBM inspired single 'Totem Echoes' and will keep them spinning with their remix of 'San Sebastian'. Whilst staying true to the original’s vibe, Radial Gaze take the track down the gym, get its pump on and slathers its new muscles in oil, all the better to flex them in the strobe lights of some sleazy, industrial warehouse. 

Heading back to Tel Aviv producers Jenia Tarsol, Asaf Samuel and Uriah Klapter strip things back and turn the track into a dark, pulsing techno number. Rapid fire synth arpeggios and snippets of vocals weave in and out of cavernous percussion and short burst of euphoric synths, as a relentless 4/4 beat drives the track on and on. Music to lose yourself to in the small hours as the sweat drips from the ceiling and a room full of bodies moves as one.'

Your captains on this voyage de l'âme intergalactique are the bossman Damon himself and his right-hand navigator Darlyn Vlys. Arm-in-arm they team up for three remarkable planet-bouncing adventures, starting with ‘Phénomène’. A butt-shaking, blunt-smoking space disco freak-out, complete with electro-style roboticised vocals, this isn’t just a track – it’s a window into a new dimension. And it comes complete with a killer return trip remix from the Adana Twins.

‘No Flash’ follows. Instantly striking with its loose, swinging off-grid drums and scorching rocket booster synth splashes, there’s 23rd century Italo flavour as we zoom deeper and deeper into the aether before ‘UFO’ brings the EP to an astounding climax. Less of a ‘UFO’ sighting and more of a full-bodied feeling, these are otherworldly flavours on an Area 54 level: in just six minutes the French duo traverse their entire sound palette with aplomb. Big crunchy synths on the intro, hip-slinging bass guitar on the drop and lavish extra terrestrial synth flares, ain’t nobody phoning home when this is playing.

WNDRLST - Echoes And Dust

'Belgian disco savants Rheinzand return with the second in a triptych of remix EPs. This one follows Obey Remixes, which came out Nov 6. 

Kills & Kisses, the original track, comes off Rheinzand’s 2019 self-titled album and has been out as a single as well. The track was one of the more propulsive on the album with an almost micro-house sounding groove, driving down low, blossoming up top. 

This bundle of remixes flow from that vein, expanding on the house angle of Rheinzand’s sound through the work of three fantastic artists.'
