Sarah Groube is Director of Digital Experience at the Australian Sports Commission. Over the course of her diverse career, Sarah has managed to combine her digital skills and knowledge with her personal passion for sport. When speaking about her role at the Australian Sports Commission, Sarah says, “I'm the custodian of the relationship that the public has with us when they're interacting with us online. And my day to day job is really about engineering or influencing changes to whatever barriers are in the way of that experience”.

Casey Millward is Director of Research in Indigenous Culture and Policy at the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Islander Studies (AIATSIS). For the past 15 years, Casey has worked in the Indigenous Affairs portfolio across the public, university and community sectors. She joins the Connecting Us team to share with us how her international experience studying at the University of Cambridge continues to influence her thinking and perspectives. Duncan Young, General Manager for the National Data Acquisition Division at the ABS, joins the Connecting Us team to share his passion for numbers and top tips for anyone who wants to get more comfortable with working with data. He touches on some of the biggest projects he has been involved in over the course of his career, including the 2016 Census of Population and Housing and the 2017 Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey. “Along the way, I've kept finding new roles and each new role has taught me something new and it's opened a new door for something different”, says Duncan.
