A poem of a Springtime stroll on Southbank that I took on Sunday evening. Feeling great relief and gratitude for the new season!

Words to the poem:

Once more 
I find myself stepping 
to the rhythm of my heart
now, that's what I call living.

Resting when I need
less haste and speed
opting for patience instead, 
like the times stood
at stations waiting

passing time by
singing and humming
musing and speaking
the faintest words
pushed up
upon my lips.

It's Spring.
Sweet relief
at last my friends
again, 
it's Spring!

My mind cast back
3 years
remarkable the fears faced
depths reached
connections made
to self, others and Earth.

Becoming the person
I always sensed I was -
Southbank alone has seen
my motion of growth.

Like the pilgrim I return
time and again
my light
like seeds
with words
to the invisible infinite around
I sew.

Spirit knows -
besides communing with the Earth -
sharing words in flow
is the closest 
I get 
to prayer.

A Springtime stroll on Southbank

Born from heckles and requests to hear my words. A moment of alchemy and inspiration brings together a few threads, to birth the first piece of its kind, in a string of beautiful moments, yet to be born.
