Performed live for Intellephunk at Service06. Artists included Kema, Sergio and Lorraine, and Centrific.

This set captures more than a fluid technicality, it captures a sonic narrative that adds bells to time and space itself.

Mechatronicast number 27 comes courtesy of Strasbourg's finest: @itako.

Itako has been exploring all corners of electronic music and as a DJ and producer he captures a certain adventurous, all killer-no filler attitude & sound in his productions and DJ sets that make them distinctively him. Playing with both trends and nøn-trends, in his mixes and through the evolution of his releases as well, he serves masterful concoctions of chugging acid, psychedelic industrial, breaks heavy bass music and trippy techno. The quality and range of his output is undeniable seeing his releases on labels as Sonic Groove, Lone Romantic, Reach Another System, Samo and Samet. He is based in Strasbourg where he is a resident at club Karmen Camina, one of European nightlife's hidden gems. The mix he recorded for us is an excerpt of one of these booming nights at Karmen Camina; 1,5 hours of trippy, underground goodness for the heads.

Malmö-based producer Martinou returns to his roots with a debut on hometown label Kontra-Musik. Since crafting his first album for Nous’Klaer Records (NL) at Inkonst’s studio, Martinou has steadily built an international presence through acclaimed releases on Mule Musiq (JP) and Turbo Recordings (CA). This three-track EP is the result of a long-running dialogue with label head Ulf Eriksson—blending Detroit-inspired techno, hypnotic depths and broken lush, all produced with subtle precision and emotional weight.
A homecoming of sorts, but also a new departure.
