The idea for this artist compilation began during the height of the Trump administration's invasion of Minneapolis and Saint Paul in January of 2026, with ICE's "METRO SURGE" operation. We wanted to offer something in solidarity with the organizers, neighbors, and mutual aid networks on the ground doing the hard work of protecting and caring for our neighbors.

This compilation, the second volume of Frequency Response, is a contribution and offering in support of the energy and spirit that pushes back, that responds to intimidation and fear with a higher frequency.

All proceeds from this release - Frequency Response, Vol. II - will go directly to Unidos' MN Education Fund. Unidos MN organizes year-round to deploy support for businesses in crisis, worker rights, climate and immigration justice, strengthening democracy and more. They are warriors on the ground in the fight against FASCISM.

As artists, we may not be able to stop injustice on our own—but together we can support those on the front lines, protect our communities, and refuse to stay silent. This compilation is our contribution to the global fight for the rule of law, mutual respect, and peace.
