Relentlessly energetic techno crew !Organism are back with a new EP of searing sounds, this time from young Italian Uakoz, who serves up two originals and gets remixed by Dangeli and Snello.

Uakoz has been DJing and producing since 2007, has been supported by plenty of key players and works with the likes of Italo Business, Selected Records and many more. 

His first track here, ‘Bad Situation’ is a firmly rooted, mid tempo bit of techno with whispered vocals and watery droplets adding a sense of atmosphere to the driving groove. Percussive stutters and smeared pads add more layers of heat to what is a finely controlled bit of work. 

Italian Snello sets to work remixing and opts to take the track down a deep, dubby and stripped back route. His chords are soothing and smooth and the drums are subliminal and frictionless as they fluidly glide along. 

‘Blame Me’ is then a humid, high pressure track with urgent stabs, rubber kicks and female coos all underpinned by some monstrous bass. It barrels along with a full blooded personality and is sure to standout come the weekend. 

Closing out this all Italian affair is Dangeli, who strips things back to a thumping, dark drum line, manic Plastikman percussive stylings and industrial sound design that really jumps out of the speakers. 

Heavyweight techno funk never sounded better than in the hands of this talented crew.

Tormented is a live performer, DJ and producer. Originally from rural mid-Michigan, he moved to Detroit in 2023 and immersed himself the city’s rich techno culture. He is the Co-founder of Ominous Earth Records, a Detroit based label focusing on atmospheric and unrelenting techno. Dark and sub-driven, Tormented’s sound is built on textured noise and kinetic rhythm. Guiding listeners through a ritual of industrial innovation.

This is a high energy mix bound to no single genre featuring tracks from my label and the artists who have contributed, artists who inspire me, and a few of my own productions. Personas is the second full-length studio album from Tunnel, a visceral exploration of the human experience told through the pulse of warehouse aesthetics. Blending jungle, techno, and bass music with seamless precision, the album defies genre boundaries—often within a single track—crafting a dynamic and immersive sonic narrative.

At its core, Personas is both a technical and emotional deep dive into dance music as storytelling. The album charts a path from utopian yearning through dystopian realities and disillusionment; tracing themes of alienation, surveillance, and commodification of the self, and ending with a rediscovery of human empathy, connection, and hope amidst the ruins.
