The Child of Galagon must venture on a noble quest given to him by the Lord of Time. He must journey into deep space and seek Yârlak the Lizard Priest to end his tyrannical reign on the galaxy. He will encounter the Giant Spider as his first test and if he is successful he will be on the path to enlightenment. Is defeating the Giant Spider enough to prepare the Child of Galagon? Will the High Space Council Elder help the Child overcome the greatest fear of all? Can peace and balance be brought to the universe?
