We'd Be started in August of 2011 and remained mostly dormant until mid 2012. The band was started by Jerry Bowling and Brandon Gambrel who brought in Screamin' Nick Maxson on vocals. We'd Be had it's first show scheduled for June 2012, though they found themselves sans drummer in the weeks before. About 2 weeks before that show, Cody Clem was brought in to play drums. Almost immediately after their debut performance, he joined the group as a permanent member in July of 2012. The band continued playing shows up through October until they had internal issues with the lead guitarist and co-founder. He was soon replaced by guitarist Corey Guilford, who quickly picked up the songs and wrote new lead parts for the debut album "One Night Stand" and took the band to a whole new level. Corey then played his first show with the band in April of 2013 at the We'd Be Ep Release Show, where the band took itself to a new extreme and found their presence onstage. We'd Be has undergone more member changes including adding a bass player into the mix by adding Ex Celloist from Texas, Kirsten Wolf. Shortly after bringing in Kirsten the band had to part ways with founding rhythm guitarist (Jerry) due to a move to Southern Indiana. After the departure of Jerry we quickly brought in guitarist Colby Terry and once again a new member that majorly improved the sound of the band. We'd Be has taken more major steps to completion throughout 2013 and we are proud to say we're still alive and kickin and working on new material for you to bash your heads to.
