I remember rolling sleeves up on top of dirt muscles
Crawl fast and kiss the red cheeks of children turning jade despite the sunrise today
Close your eyes and rearrange anxious fever dreams and come out to play.
Where knees knock and jealous fruits atop the trees drop

Stop and pull your fake teeth out

Bloom I saw the loose-leaf predictions and read them wrong, cause I know it's time

Momma says dream big, so I dream that I'm a giant
Larger than my problems, so tall all I see are violets where deserts lay, where seas/C's can't reach, where no one dreams of being

The knight held Ann in apple scented armor.
The dragons she was afraid of were chased away with dedicated, polished swords.
Their scales and beaks peaked above the planes of grass and sewing leaves as fall arrived daily battlements challenged sounds of hounds and horns

Now we are six and fierce as tigers, brave as lions
What I'm trying to say is so childish it's never wrong.
Now we're scared and tame as kittens, house cat children
taunting door mice just to prove that we're adultly strong

The night swam east to tend to delicate injuries to hide from noises of the trumpets brash and gashing brass
The two climbed diagonal across horizons while young Ann tightened her arms around her auspicious and her brilliant lions

I’m not supposed to I couldn’t tell you why
weight like an anvil, wait like a stopwatch killed time
Broad as an oak tree, barren as an evergreen I couldn’t tell you why

The wildness of flowers does cause me unnatural despair
from fearful fraught frustration intense inebriation, I will lose my legs in spite of them.
