Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Canadian duo Orphx (Sonic Groove / HANDS).

Orphx have been creating their unique fusion of rhythm and noise since the mid 90s, combining elements of techno with the experimental techniques and critical spirit of industrial music.
The project was founded in 1993 by Rich Oddie, Christina Sealey, and Aron West, who began creating improvised soundscapes and audio/visual performances inspired by early industrial music, grindcore, and power electronics. 
Following cassette releases on their own Xcreteria label, West departed to focus on absurdist noise project Tropism while Oddie and Sealey began to push Orphx in a more rhythmic direction. 
Their distinctive sound used powerful layered rhythms, modulating soundscapes, and processed vocals and samples to explore themes of psychological conflict and social control. 

Orphx have refined their sound across numerous releases and many changes in tools and techniques, moving from reel to reel tape machines and homemade instruments to software sequencing and processing, and then back again to hardware following Sealey's adoption of modular synthesizers in 2008. 
Oddie and Sealey are renowned for delivering improvised live performances that combine modular synth, drum machines, software, and live vocals. 
They have toured throughout Europe, North America, Japan, and China, appearing at international festivals such as Berlin Atonal, Katharsis, Labyrinth, Mutek Montréal, Rural, and Unsound, and regularly performing at techno temples such as Berghain / Panorama Bar, Tresor, and KHIDI. 

Their work has been featured in films and documentaries, including I Dream of Wires (2014) and Soundtrack for the Urban Decay (2015). 
In recent years, they have been working on new audio-visual performances using infrasound and multi-channel speaker systems, working in collaboration with video artist Patrick Trudeau and McMaster University's Institute for Music and the Mind.

3.14 is the project of DJ and producer Alex π, hailing from Athens, Greece. Based in Berlin since 2013. His record labels Pi Electronics and Modal Analysis have played an important role in the development of the experimental techno sound coming out of Greece, through the discography and events of the labels in Berlin and Athens. His sound crosses over techno, breaks and club-oriented music with the aesthetics of the 80s: industrial, noise and sub-genres.

Henning always turns out quality in terms of production and DJing. The first time I stood back and really noticed his productions was when I bought the Gemini ep on Tanstaafl records back in 2015. The title track is simply amazing.  I'm also a huge fan  of the Rigger ep and the track 'Night City' on his Manhigh label.

He has a brand new release on Pinkman that is an absolute Killer record.

His Voxnox electro mix blew me away, so I had to try and get him to do a mix for the series. He duly obliged!

I would best describe his sound and 'Gritty Industrial Funk'

Yu Kawabata is a Japan based techno artist.She has already managed to set a prominent mark within the industrial techno at an early stage of her career as an influential and emerging .emotions.She has been performing at notorious venues such Club Joule in Osaka.She has built her DJ career in Russia too,she performed at ARMA17,Propaganda,BLANK and several  festivals such as OUTLINE and GAMMA FESTIVAL.
Yu is developing her own unique industrial techno music style influenced by hard  metal rock,punk and all kind of music. Her unique DJ sets make the crowd into a voyage of industrial sounds with the strong dark underground atmosphere.

Behind the name Nørbak is Artur, born is the late nineties, in the North of Portugal. His devotion into making music begins early in his life, and since then, he keeps working in his studio, day after day, discovering and developing his own sound, diving into ambient and experimental techno. In 2016 releases the fruits of his work on labels such as: Illegal Alien Records and Circular Limited, reaching the point in 2017 where he sees his recognition going further with a split vinyl EP on Affin. 

Feeling supported by some of the most respected artists in the scene, his future can only be brighter than what it is right now, with so many boundaries to achieve, discover, learn and cross.
This month (August 2017)Nørbak made his debut behind the bars of Tresor Berlin.
