This song began as simple peace prayer when the war in Ukraine started. In February of 2023, i began recording the track with my friend Rick Franz in Colorado. Rick helped me lay the ground of the track and create the form, he plays bass, some of the electric guitar, and the amazing guitar solo on this track. Some months later in the reflection phase of this song, I found myself in Bali working on the track with my friend, Jim Beckwith. I wanted to revisit the original feel of the song, i felt i had lost. Jim encouraged me to play the electric guitar and helped me with the arrangement and vocals. Back in the US I began mixing the track with producer Ben Leinbach, Ben also laid down the groovy drums for this song. I could not have done this without these three friends. They each added their talent, heart and musical talent to making this track.

To Senor Bob Tudor for making time to play the soulful rhodes piano and to big thanks to Max Ribner for the amazing flugle horn on this track. I kepy having a vision (and dreams) of a trumpet on this song and Max brought it to life. Also to my friends Brenda McMorrow, Daphne Tse & Lindsey Deperi + Rick Franz + Jim Beckwith for singing the background vocals.

And to my beloved Natalie Dawn Wilson for her beautiful original artwork, that was inspired + channeled for this song and her support and encouragement over the last 4 years! Jim B for graphic design. And to Stefan Heger at Fish eye music for mastering this song.
