(Sorry for the first 5 minutes of useless stuff, but SoundCloud’s copyright system is honestly ridiculous. I still can’t understand how Instagram and TikTok managed to work things out, yet SoundCloud hasn’t. And what’s even crazier is how Spotify lets some people upload fully copyrighted tracks without taking them down. What a joke.)

The other day, a friend sent me his first-ever track on SoundCloud. Honestly, it was probably the worst thing I’ve heard in the past ten years. It was made back in 2009 and used that classic Dominator sound from Sylenth, the same one people say was used in “Warp.”

That gave me an idea—why not take that insane energy and flip it into something for today? So I pushed it to 138 BPM, gave it a heavy UK hard techno vibe with raw UK percussion, and kept it true to that massive sound the Bloody Beetroots were going for.
Fun fact—they’re from Bassano del Grappa, just next to my hometown, Padova.

At first, it felt like another random edit I’d make and never finish. But then I found out the Bloody Beetroots are playing in Milan this week… and it felt like fate. So I wrapped it up and decided to drop it—even if it’s not perfect.
Because done is better than perfect, and honestly, nothing ever really is.
