Originally this music is the soundtrack for circustheatre play 'Out of Control' by Wietske Vogels about a female inventor who builds overly complicated contraptions to make her peculiar everyday routines into something gracefully awesome.

De Integraal is een audio-avontuur per fiets en te voet door het oude dorp en de nieuwe kastelen van Engelen. Een interactieve tocht waarin het leven van alledag, de roemrijke geschiedenis en de maakbare samenleving onder de loep worden genomen. Een game waarin Engelen het speelveld is en iedereen op zoek gaat naar zijn eigen Heilige Graal. 

Benodigdheden: fiets, smartphone + app, koptelefoon.

Weerthof & Pagée (www.soundtreks.nl) creëerden in opdracht van Stichting Engelen 1200 voor het jubileumjaar een app waarmee je op audio-avontuur gaat - met koptelefoon op. Speciaal hiervoor ontwikkelden zij een technologie op basis van gps-locatie.

Het avontuur start bij de sluis van Engelen (kant van Het Slot) of de Diezekade in het dorp. Met de app kun je ook vanaf CS Den Bosch op de fiets naar Engelen. Je hebt te allen tijde oortjes (graag stereo beluisteren, dus beide oortjes in) nodig om te weten welke route je moet volgen en natuurlijk om het audio-avontuur zo optimaal mogelijk te kunnen beleven.

De makers interviewden bewoners uit Engelen, architect Sjoerd Soeters (hij bedacht het masterplan van de Haverleij en ontwierp Kasteel Leliënhuyze), sociologe Elfanie Toelaer (die ooit haar afstudeerscriptie schreef over de Haverleij), stadschroniqueur Eric Alink (waarmee de makers samen langs alle kastelen fietsten) en gingen op pad met zowel de bovenbouwers van kindcentrum de Matrix als die van Jenaplanschool de Antonius Abt.

De muziek en composities in de app zijn met name van Weerthof, maar o.a. ook van Ton van den Bergh, Muziek Collectief Engelen, Daniël Smits en Marijn Moerbeek. Ook veel omgevings- en natuurgeluiden en opnames van o.a. Muziek op de Dieze zijn in het avontuur opgenomen.

Vanaf 24 april kun je de app gratis downloaden in de ITunes en de Google Play store. Dit project werd mede mogelijk gemaakt door het Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds.

Instrumentale versie van Daliënwaerd uit 'De Integraal', de eerste audio-docu/game/tour voor op de fiets. 'De Integraal' verschijnt iets voor 24 april in de app stores!

De Integraal is het verhaal over twee manieren van wonen, tot elkaar veroordeeld door de stedenplanners. Met een grote golfcourt en een supermarkt ertussen. Aan de ene kant de Haverleij, een surreel landschap besprenkeld met post-moderne nieuwbouwkastelen. Aan de andere kant het 1200 jaar oude dijkdorpje Engelen, dat eigenzinnig omgaat met de annexatiedrift van grote buurman Den Bosch.

Officieel maken ze allebei deel uit van stadswijk Engelen, ogenschijnlijk met als enige link de supermarkt aan de verbindende weg dwars door de golfcourt. De Integraal biedt een compleet nieuwe vorm van interactive storytelling, en nodigt je uit om al fietsend dit verhaal en landschap te beleven.

De Integraal is een audio-docu/game/tour per fiets naar en door Engelen: dorp en Haverleij. Een interactief avontuur waarin het leven van alledag, de roemrijke geschiedenis, de architectuur en de maakbare samenleving onder de loep worden genomen. Een game waarin Engelen het speelveld is en iedereen op zoek gaat naar zijn eigen Heilige Graal.
