Free Track: Swindle - Unholy War Ft. Babysol

Elijah & Skilliam are at the forefront of a new wave of Grime artists, with their own Butterz imprint and events pushing and progressing the new Grime sound.

For those of you haven't experienced a Butterz night, every event is like a carnival, gone are the days of just a dark room, everyone eyes down. In recent years it felt like Grime had somehow lost it's way and become stagnant, with little setting every artist apart. Then Butterz came along. The vibe of the night was the most important thing on the agenda, with the boys injecting some fun into the Grime scene. This is reflected on the artists who are now part of the Butterz roster, with Royal-T and Champion releasing upbeat tunes with the dancefloor in mind, and the multi-talented Swindle showcasing that the scene has definitely come a long way musically.

Next month Butterz will be celebrating the 3rd Birthday at Cable with a lineup not to be missed. And as a little treat, Elijah & Skilliam have put together this 100% vinyl mix of some of the most recognisable Grime beats from the early days of the scene. Some absolute bangers in here... Terror Danjah: Rhythm & Grime Butterz mix

We Fear Silence presents the next installment of Blueprint on Saturday 16th February, with another bona fide Techno legend taking to the stage. With recent performances from Detroit pioneers Jeff Mills and Robert Hood, Blueprint has always been a bastion for the best in Techno, and this time is no different as Rotterdam boy and veteran in the scene, Speedy J, will come to the Cable arches. With over 20 years in the game, Speedy J is now considered to be rubbing shoulders with the founders of the scene and those he once considered his idols. 

He will be joined by a true hero in the UK Techno scene, Downwards label boss, Regis. Blueprint head honcho James Ruskin will of course be in attendance, with Daniel Miller in firm support.

Ahead of his performance on the 16th, Mute label boss Daniel Miller has put together this exclusive mix for us to get you in the mood. With over 35 years of experience, and his label home to some legends in the game, including Depeche Mode, Daniel has always pushed quality, forward-thinking music, and this mix shows that. Elijah & Skilliam - Before We Met We Bought These

This Saturday 2 of Cable's biggest nights go head-to-head to see who reigns supreme in the battle of the Drum and Bass heavyweights, as We Fear Silence faces off against Idiosynphonic. 

The main room reads a who's who of DnB legends and rising stars, with the one and only Goldie headlining alongside veteran, Fabio. Joining them will be Bristol boy DJ Die and a rare performance from liquid don, Commix. The main room is completed by Shogun Audio's very own Technimatic, with rising stars Koncept and Tomek N in the mix as well.

Baratone: We Fear Silence vs Idiosynphonic promo mix

Following on from the success of the massive Blueprint and WFS Vs Idiosynphonic events, We Fear Silence returns to Cable this Saturday with a selection of the finest DJs from some of the UK's most underground labels. 

First up is experimental Dubstep producer, Phaeleh. Widely respected for his unique musical take on the scene, his production shows great maturity and depth which has earned him well deserved status within the scene. Next up are Nightslug's members, Lil Silva an Girl Unit, who will also be joined by Number's mainstay's, Deadboy and Redinho. And just to top it off, Rinse FM selector and Hyperdub boy, Scratcha DVA, completes the main room lineup.

Relay will be taken over by the legendary Planet V, with 2 very special live performances from Jenna G and David Boomah. Veterans DJ Die, Bryan Gee and Jumpin' Jack Frost also join proceedings. 

And finally as if that wasn't enough, the Bar will be graced by the Swerve crew, with Fabio at the helm being joined by former Radio 1Xtra selector, Bailey, and more.

Ahead of his performance in Relay for the Planet V camp, Brazilian Liquid DnB boss Level 2 has put together this exclusive mix for us. With support from fellow Brazilian legend DJ Marky, as well as Fabio, SS, Hazard, Break, Die and many more, Level 2 has earned himself the reputation as one of the most consistent producers in the game.
