I made this mix with festival season in mind. Close your eyes and immerse yourself waking up on a Sunday morning at a Musical festival, feeling the warmth of the sun through your tent as the  sounds of the music slowly awakens your senses. You stumble outside to view the sunrise, the light glistens off the foggy dew in the fields of grass. You reach for the sky as you stretch your body. Others join in on the awakening, the music leads you to the stage, providing that extra boost of energy to put your feet in motion. The bassline rides the hairs on your arms, chills run down your spine, this is my moment of enlightenment. 

The perfect mix to lift your spirits on a groggy Monday morning or to pump you up before going out on a Saturday night.

Reviving the event series from the days of Savage Garden, Revolution vs Machine returned with a vengeance to new digs at Club 120!

Such an incredibly suitable venue to a night of music that was a little slice of everything.

I had to fight the urge to jump off the precariously perched DJ booth into the crowd below almost the entire set -- but this arrangement definitely kept me on my toes. There was a lot of fun mashing and technical complexity going on -- and at a few points it got a tiny bit messy. 

I blame the obnoxiously cheap Jager and Goldschlager available at the bar directly beneath the DJ booth. No seriously, I could have drilled a hole into the floor and had the bartender pass them up to me the entire time. 

I don't think I would've made it to the end had that been the case.

Thanks to all who came out to celebrate this awesome event's rebirth! Here's to many more!
