With his latest release, Wehbba has turned in a very special concept EP on Marc Romboy’s legendary Systematic Recordings imprint, already earning big BBC spins from Pete Tong and other taste-makers.

Entitled Systematic Shades Vol. 1, the EP finds Wehbba painting three vivid soundscapes to evoke distinct shades of color and movement. The opening track “View of Delft” is an epic builder that invites you to close your eyes, take in the cascading atmospheric synths and envision the colors coming through your ears. The following two cuts solidify the release’s concept, offering up their own distinct shades of dance while clocking in with more peak-time energy."

Coming in two versions, a '3am Remix' and a 'Remake', the remixes retain the rousing Reese bassline of the original and the pitch shifted vox which made the track so unforgettable, but employ them in different ways. 

The '3am Remix' teases the bassline out until dropping it full force into the break eliciting a 'this mix is f*cking brilliant, I LOOOVE IT i will hammer it everywhere LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS' comment from the original author Laurent Garnier – enough said! 

The 'Remake' is truer to the original stylistically. Running the bass from the off, toying with low pass filters and a slow burning build, the '3AM Remix' teases the bassline out until dropping it full force into the break.
