After the successful label launch of Borne Fruits last November with boss Amaliah's debut EP 'Borne Fruits 001', we now have an exciting new V/A compilation with the best of London's new and fresh talent.

The compilation series is called 'Club Entry', with the first being Volume 1. The idea behind the name is to celebrate new UK Club artists who are emerging in the London scene as ones to watch. The imagery for the compilation reflects this - each series will be associated to a club space and have polaroids taken whilst the club is empty, so the music you hear from the comp can transport you to your favourite club memories and spaces.

For this series, the pictures shown are taken in iconic London and UK staple club, Fabric. Each image shows a different part of the club - signs to different rooms, weighty ceiling pipes, disco balls and eerily lit corners which all encapsulate the varying sounds this compilation holds.

The artists we have include Bailey Ibbs, Reece Spooner, Highrise, Jossy Mitsu, Angel D'lite, Bluetoof, LUXE, Club Winston and Amaliah. Each track differs from the other but still holds that feeling of making you want to dance - an ethos Borne Fruits holds and cherishes.

Up first on our release timeline is Bailey Ibbs kicking things off with his infectious house track 'Jungle Splash'. This track is the perfect entry into the club with a heavyweight drum line, smooth bass and pumping vocals that are sure to get you moving.

B from E comes through with a 5 track ep on nascent Danish label BSP Bispebjerg’s fourth release. The opening track Dreamcore was tough to place at first, a slow burn acid trancey breakbeat hardcore throwback, and took a moment for me to get into.  What felt like a slow start at first revealed itself to be the sort of banger you expect to hear when its already light out and nobody cares, partying past the sunrise into the next day with no worries.  

The pace from the first song is continued into This is My House, a swung and housey super monkeyball style banger that is equal parts early 00s playstation game and renegade greenhouse rave.  The playful piano stabs and the silly baseline make you want to skip to the arcade.  The third track  Trancois blindsides you with the purest of calls to masters like orbital and the orb, swelling pads and noodling synthlines get your brain meandering in just the right way.  If this weren’t enough  Main Phase and Lille Høg deliver on remix duty.  Main Phase comes though with a sincere intelligent jungle remix while Lille Høg, who’s track is only available on the digital release follows up a later era feeling garage trance remix.  Overall, this EP is drenched in just the right kind of nostalgia, and while the first track takes a moment to get a handle on, is a treat.
