As Believers in Jesus Christ, fishers of men, and ministers of the Gospel, if not careful, we can find ourselves becoming comfortable with just “cleaning the easy fish”. We’ll find ourselves spending most of our time in the company of those who don't require much work, patience, or out pouring of Agape’ Love. This is why most churches are full of “church people” instead of Christians (there’s a difference). If it's hard to fit a person into the "church person" mold, we tend to run the other way, tossing that person aside, and forgetting all about their soul. Some of us (Christians) just don’t know how to talk to the homosexual with love, how to show love to the prostitute/stripper, how to have a conversation with a homeless person, a drug addict, or a drug dealer, ALL while exuding the Love of Christ. We are really lacking in the body in this area. The only thing some Christians know how to do is talk and minister to each other...use a bunch of religious, church jargon, and say “have a blessed day”. We must become all things to all men. We must know how to EFFECTIVELY, but non-judgmentally minister to the lost. THE WORLD NEEDS THIS! This is what inspired this album. "Hedges and Highways" is sort of a guideline in song, on how to show the love of Christ and still present His message without compromise.
