 techno and dark techno fusion unfolds with syncopated, hypnotic basslines and clinical, sharp percussion. Lush synths and airy pads glide above evolving, looping arpeggios. Intense peaks use white noise bursts, delayed hats, stuttered claps, and funk-inspired rhythms. Each climax dissipates into wide, atmospheric breakdowns with swirling synth FX. The structure alternates between deep, stripped-back immersion and euphoric, multi-textured builds, offering rich tonal variety and finely detailed grooves throughout.

The Light Side

“Some Other Things” takes the progressive side of the dancefloor and pushes it forward with groove-driven layers and hypnotic textures. Built on deep rolling basslines, crisp percussion, and evolving melodic patterns, the track creates a sense of movement that never lets go. Finnish finesse features in boundless energy through the effervescent sounds of Movement Machina. A rising star in the dance music firmament finds a sprinkling of stardust at the inception of a glittering Anjuna career. Taking "No for an Answer", organic and synthetic blend in a whirlpool of melodic counterpoint. The sun shines brightly lighting up a coruscating arpeggio sequence as hypnotic and eloquent as the eddying current in their kaleidoscopic colour of refracted movement. Cerulean blue skies find a place in the "Real Regal"; delays shimmer in the glistening azure ocean, their tessellate array casting infinitely shifting patterns through glassy waters as filtered melody revels in analogue mutability.

We end this day with an important collaboration for us. We are talking about an artist we have been following for a long time and who has been playlisted on our events. This is a dark deephouse, dynamic and rythmed, and it is always good to make the dancefloor of clubs shaking : yes, Kastis Torrau is here! His Phil Martyn's Remix 'Come on' will be released on 26th September on Perspectives Digital, and the whole Ep is a delight to hear. Moreover the second original 'midnight' has his own Remix by the Croatian expert Petar Dundov ! Enjoy :)

PREMIERE : Phil Martyn - Come On (Kastis Torrau Remix) [Perspectives Digital]

Henry Saiz & Band recently revealed plans for their ambitious Kickstarter-funded album Human and a first taste in the form of stunning debut single The Golden Cage. Hot on its heels comes the spectacular indie dance stunner Ghosts, with a host of stellar remixes.
Sonically, it´s a slinky slab of melancholic discofied electronica, chugging with its laconic yet funk-driven groove and sumptuous 80s guitar licks. The glorious vocal is layered up beautifully, with glitchy edits giving it a futuristic feel at key moments, and the progression of emotion from the verse to the choruses is nothing short of stunning. A blissed-out half-time breakdown lays on icy, gated synth chords and spacious reverbs, before the infectious chorus groove kicks back into life. You can hear this one soundtracking an epic film or powerful TV series moment, so laden it is with bittersweet emotion, drama and power. Channeling the best of 80s synth pop into contemporary production, Henry Saiz & Band and their vocal collaborator have cooked up something really stunning here. 
Transhuman Club Version draws the original out into a brooding 9-minute-long techno opus, at first pitching the vocals down before they rise up, giving the effect of a male/female duet. Stuttering, distorted chords rise from the deep beat with delicate arpeggios, the track slowly swelling to an intensity before restraining itself. Its a subtle, classy rework perfect for those build moments in deeper sets. It should be noted that its this style that Henry Saiz & Band will be playing in their live shows, combining the most powerful elements of their originals with a tougher electronic backbone perfect for festivals, arenas and concert halls.
Aux The Masterfader´s Street Dance Mix ups the 80s factor, incorporating a boogie/electro flavour with its plump bass and pumping drum machines. Very much in the early Madonna vein, it provides an uncluttered arrangement that really lets the vocal shine in all its glory.
