WEIRD PLANET MIX SERIES

This is my first mix of Acid and Hard techno since my last party at Nuclear Free Zone in 2008! It was done for a Techno Radio show on 27th of July 2013. This mix includes 10 new, promo tracks.

All other tracks have either appeared on my Record Label (Getafix Records) or are my tracks on other record labels (Stay Up Forever; Routemaster; Bang On; DPIM etc.) I hope you enjoy the mix, and please download, share, and repost.

As nothing’s better than some straight bangin’ acid lines to start the new season, we’re thrilled to host a 1H live from @DICA-mkrksm for the 9th episode of our Podcast Series!

Based in Rennes and strongly influenced by the acid vibrations emerging from the other side of the Channel, it’s through Acid UK and flagship labels of this movement that DICA finds the first impulse to create his own music. Quickly surrounded by an analogical arsenal, we find him a few years later with an already perfectly-mastered hard-techno live, ready to make the walls sweat.

Today, his overboosted sound has found its place on labels such as Fluctuat Rec, KTK, Recollection, or even Stay Up Forever… We can already say that the circle is complete.

With dynamic musical taste and timing sharper than a razor, Sterling Moss is renowned for his technically explosive DJ style that never fails to electrify crowds the world over. Having toured extensively in over 25 countries throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, he regularly rocks dancefloors all around the globe.

Tirelessly stoking a 303 & 909 driven rebellion from the Sound Lab studio, his numerous releases on his own imprints, such as Rebeltek or Raceway, and his tight collaborations alongside the mighty Stay Up Forever crew have made himself one of the key players of the acid UK movement.

Legendary skills, punk injected overflowing energy and explosive selections... Sterling Moss is quite simply one of the best djs we know, and that is one of the many reasons we’re so delighted to have him for today's episode!

For the third episode of our Weird Planet Podcast Series, we're super glad to host a master of dark industrial soundscapes and bloody acid lines, ABLK !

Coming from the North of France, it is through punk rock and metal that he first went to music, guitar in hand and pedal underfoot. It’s not surprising, then, to find such uninhibited influences in his techno project created around 4 years ago, through which he shapes a straight and radical sound drawn from the Belgian and Dutch scene, and by the hard sounds of freeparty.

No need to warn you so, this new podcast is something from which we don’t return completely unscathed. Between industrial-infused acid techno - including some of his recent releases - and some acidcore coming straight from the doom, it’s a nice glimpse of his twisted universe that ABLK shares with us today, always without any fuss or pity!
