Not Giving Up

We are writing a new album and it'll be a wee while until its released so here is some ideas we have been working on. Stu and Pabs got together in the studio to lay some stuff down.

The Canine with No Teeth

Back in 2007 we were scouted by a small record label called Bracken records. they loved 'Easy Way' from out album 'One More Solo' and they wanted a single version. So we re-recorded the song at Dereks flat.We attempted to make it sound fuller but it didn't match the raw passion of the original. We didn't hear from Bracken records again! I still feel its a good version; its just a wee bit more radio friendly.

Medicine

Written in 2017 'Take the Blindness From Your Eyes' was one of four songs to be written in our practise room; a return to our traditional way of writing. 

The music was recorded and mixed within a fairly quick time frame and we dropped tuned for the first time to see what we could come up with. 

Recorded, mixed and mastered on a Korg D3200 throughout 2017. 

This cost us time to make, but no money as all the gear is ours. However if you pay for the track then the money we make goes to future projects.

The Ending (unplugged)

Weird Decibels; have somehow stuck together for 20 years and have just recorded their 8th album. They are from Falkirk; a town famous for a wheel and big horse heads. Falkirks music scene is growing again and we're delighted to be a part  of it

Paul is the singer, he is moody and we're not sure if this is him in character or if its his age or the fact he can't grow a beard. Stu is the guitarist he has lots of guitars and does the devil sign during every solo. Greg is on bass but sometimes he forgets things which is worrying as he drives big trucks and Derek plays drums; he loves watching wrestling even though its not real.

Somehow after all these years they are still friends
