We close out December's releases with Branzei's Too Smooth EP. A two-tracker that cuts right to the chase and delivers two top-notch grooves in the form of the title track and 'Five O.'

The DJ and producer, who is originally from Romania and now resides in Vancouver, strikes an interesting balance between the American strain of Tech House and the more classic variant from Europe. We like this mix very much indeed.

Branzei has released on reputable labels such as Dirtybird, Bunny Tiger, and SOLOTOKO and, throughout the years, has collaborated with prolific artists such as Sharem Jay and Kolombo.

Too Smooth is a tight EP with fresh perspectives on rolling Tech House that we certainly have no problem getting behind.

Artichokes Are Yellow presents your spring 2023 anthems by the lovely GetCosy. We are excited to welcome GetCosy to our label for the first time with the wonky-ist of EPs. 
The track 'Owl Business' is similar to that one artsy kid you knew, that drew pen marks all over their Converse shoes. With droning sirens and a haunting bassline, this track is the perfect sunrise set highlight.
'Ommage' is a catchy club banger with an airy synth, horns, and a vocal hook that grabs your attention.

We're back with another instance of Dimes, stacked with a banging selection of tracks from across the globe.

Facunh and Danny Nectar kick it off with 'Check In', a dirty tech groover with a cheeky vocal cut that keeps you pinned to the hypnotic vibe of the track. Riverbank follows things up with a chuggy late-night driver of a track, 'Circles', that holds absolutely nothing back. It's dark and filthy, which of course, we love.

From the darker techno vibes, we move to a more bouncy and almost glitchy groove in 'Everything Is Better' by MAGNVM! feat. Lulu The Magicake. Just a really dope tune!

We are then swiftly taken back down the darker rabbit hole. JTJ's 'Play Along' is loud, proud, and noisy, in a good way. The modulated synth shots keep the energy flowing throughout the track, allowing a weirdly satisfying and pulsating hypnotic power tool groove to evolve.

To finish off this selection of Dimes on a slightly lighter note, Shapa Luck brings us a bouncy groover with his tune 'Right There'.

If we say so ourselves, a solid collection of dimes indeed.

@dj_m33ch aka Dimitri was born in Ukraine and moved to the Bronx in the late 90s. From an early age he discovered his love for the underground scene of techno and house music and has since then performed at various clubs around NYC, as well as in Maine. His most recent highlights are branding a local group of DJs together under the name @sheesh.collective. His ever growing discography is nothing short of amazing. With releases on record labels like HOUSE OF HUSTLE, HAPPY TECHNO and TOO MANY RULES.
