We're delighted to have one of our major discoveries of 2022 back on the label. Screechy presents a worthy follow-up to his 'My Groove EP' and again hits the mark for us. The Smoking Kills EP consists of two original takes on Bass House, which we loved right from the get-go.

The Ukrainian youngster seems to have a knack for quirky grooves, and we can't help but jump on these short but sweet records. Both 'Smoking Kills' and 'Hot Boy' carry the necessary swag we look for in records, so this feels like an exemplary House Of Hustle release.

Screechy seems to have creative sauce on his fingers every time he opens his DAW, so his keyboard must be a mess - but we will forgive him. Whenever the young producer sends us tracks, we are all ears and end up signing, well, basically, a lot of it.

We're sure glad we signed these two!

We are so honored to have these artists supporting our label and creating with us, thank you Artichokes Are Yellow crew for another year of music. We love branching out in styles for these remix compilations so be sure to look out for some deeper remixes, some techno, some breakbeats, etc. We love having remixers from all different musical backgrounds, so I hope volume two gets you excited for volume three.

big, Bigger and BIGGER! Hit after hit, smack after smack. One after another we have another stacked mini comp of heat full of A-class TRAX! 

This is one of our favourite releases each year because it's a chance for artists to share the limelight with each other, building audiences together for like-minded listeners. 

Kicking off the comp we have Kasto ft. DANI with that peak time heatfull of big energy and big vibes. This is closely followed by HeyDoc!, who delivers a record suited just as well to sunsets as it is sunrises. Fresh new artist Groove Aspect is up next with Mumble featuring Infectious drums, funky vocals and a rolling bass. Wait, is this Box of Cats first minimal house record?! :P 

Tálita is up next all the way from Spain throwing in her all at what can only be described as a low end weapon! It's been a while since we have had Monista on Box of Cats, but he's back and in a big way. FAT drums & FAT bass really make this one PHAT! Rounding out the compilation is a nice moody monster from BRN that reminds us we all need a little more saxophone in our lives! 

Headphones on, crank the volume and go for a run because you'll be pumped up after these ones!

Closing down the month of August, we have this stellar tune from Catz N Motion, and Vanilla Ace called The Boat. It is a perfect summer tune with plenty of good old party vibes. To add a bunch of extra flavor to the release, we got some quality remix work done by Holt 88, Kidd Mike, and Waste. Each on their own brought their A-game to this one, so join us aboard as we groove away.
