Denver-based producer Illenium (aka Nicholas Miller) has linked up with NEST for the release of his latest single, “I’ll Be Your Reason”, out today, June 8th. Falling somewhere in the vast realm of future bass, the new single sees Miller harness his superlative ability for melodic production, utilizing hazy vocals from Irish songwriter, EDEN, for a moody, downtempo jam.

“I wanted to surprise people with this tune and show that music can both be beautiful, complex, and diverse all at the same time,” Miller explains. Complete with fluid textures and incisive hip hop percussion, Illenium creates a gratifying juxtaposition of floaty atmospherics and assertive, bass-heavy hits that highlights the rising producer’s multifaceted approach to his craft.

when the opportunity came up to remix a record off @krane's LP, I agreed without hesitation. after getting the remix started at home, I went to the Dim Mak studios to crank out the rest.

instant inspiration is something that I find very difficult to capture and translate, yet after working in different environments for four straight days my original inspiration remained intact. this remix almost doubled the amount of individual tracks I've put into any project and I believe it embodies what I set out to create; something bigger.
