JUAAN_
Juan Fernandez aka JUAAN, (previously known as ACOC), is a very young and outstanding Dj/ Producer from the Argetinian Coast of Mar del Plata. He is also one of the resident´s at the well known "Quba" club at his hometwon, in which he also hosts his own cycle "Vermouth", a well appraised venue in the underground community.
Great taste and very special musical background, makes him one artist to keep an eye on this 2020. As a producer you can find some of his work in great releases on very cool labels, including his most recent appearance in renowed Argentinian labels "Abstrack Future" and "Rovas" with a fresher sound with lots of electro and sticking to the acid roots.

Daniel Paul_

We are super happy to have as a guest for our podcast series, a session by no less than Daniel Paul, an amazing artist and one of the most lovely human beings out there. Half of the outstanding duo Cab Drivers, Daniel Paul’s heart beats to the rhythm of house music. He just loves to get the beat going and get the dance-floor moving. 

Born and raised in east Berlin, he has been making top notch quality electronic music for over 30 years. He’s worked and collaborated with artists such  as “Daniel Bell”, “Richie Hawtin”, “The Stickman”, “4hero”, “Chez Damier”, “Jazzanova”, “Henrik Schwarz”, “Capitol A”, “Victor Dupleaux”. Recent releases include artists like “Audio Werner”, “Youandewan”,  “Subb-an”, “Vicmari”, without forgetting his latest project with Brawther, “BruDan”.

Alongside his rare solo projects he’s produced many tracks with his partner in crime Zky as “Cab Drivers”, “The Poor Knight”, “Compass”, “Horseshoe”, “Warten Borgmann”.
Co- Founder of Cabinet Records, one of the most prestigious labels in the underground scene since 1995. 
As “Daniel Paul” he has releases on “7th City”, “Shari Vari”, “Highgrade”, “Plus8” and numerus remixes on many other labels.

So with no further ado, we are pleased to share with you this new episode! You can expect something in between underground and overground, techno and house, soul and drive, deep and fun, dub and disco!

Finally coming back from a long break in our podcast series, to keep up the heat, this time we have the joy of presenting this amazing podcast by our good friend and resident Lost Stories.

Marcos Acosta a.k.a Lost Stories, is a natural born artist from the city of Maldonado, Uruguay. He was first influenced by the local hip-hop school, which then gave the first foot to the world of electronic music.

His devotion to vinyl and his technique lead him, along with his large collection of records, to achieve endless passages and cuts that vary between electro, acid house, and techno. Leading Lost Stories to develop a unique and distinguishable sound. Meanwhile, his own productions showcase his ability to create deep sound that stimulates the mind, body and spirit.

His motivation and disposition for music led him to be the founder of the Novi Orbis label and also to be a dj-resident at Rawbeats Records.

Without hesitation when we talk about Lost Stories, we don't just refer to it as a dj-producer, but as a music lover in which he offers everything of himself, achieving a track where the public experiences a sensory journey with textures and nuances out of the ordinary.

Lost Stories (Uy) - Rawbeats Podcast 013

RBE001.02 – RAWBEATS EXTRANSESORIAL PART 2

We finally are ready to present to you the second part of the first release of our Extrasensorial Catalog. We bring you some of the best from the South American electronic scene.

For C1, we are thrilled to have a good friend of the house, Pedro d´Alessandro, who steps on board with an introspective experimental dubby approach that perfectly reflects his experience as a producer. 
On C2, we welcome Bok-p, this uprising Uruguayan duo brings us some pure heat straight from Montevideo, with an outstanding and refreshing track that explores 90´s breaks, techno and house with a touch of that well known Uruguayan flavour. 

For D1, we have a massive bomb from one of the top producers of the moment, none else than JUAAN, the Argentinean producer shared with us a real peak time bomb that will make everyone shout wherever/whenever you drop this, be it in the club, the after, or a good old house party. 

Finally, for D2, we bring you a deep and hypnotic track by Camilo Gil & One + 1, with lots of minimal influences filled with bouncy percs and dreamy pads, suitable for any time and moment.

Wareika_

For this podcast we have the pleasure of presenting to you guys an extraordinary 3 hour Live session recorded in one the most important venues of our lovely scene, the one and only Club Der Visionaere, the recording was performed on July the 2nd of this Year by our good friends and great artists Wareika.

Formed in 2007 by Jakob Seidensticker, Florian Schirmacher and Henri Raabe, Wareika was accidentally gathered on stage for the first time at Hamburg's mythical Mojo Club. Since then, the german trio has built a very singular sound signature after a decade of playing together. Revealing the diverse influences and musical educations from all three individuals, the band's discography has been built over a solid live experience. Being academically trained in Jazz and Classical but also self taught through electronic music, Jakob, Florian and Henrik are able to sing, play guitars, drum machines, pianos, synthesizers, bass, percussions and way more. 

Concocting their stylistic blend with meditative Jazz, hypnotic Dub, meticulous Techno and subtle House, it leaves no surprise as you think about the high level of versatility of Wareika's musical spirit. Calling from King Tubby, Sun Ra or afrobeat master Fela Kuti, they develop a dazzling kaleidoscope of melodies and polyrhythmic patterns over four to the floor beats that is entirely unique in the electronic musie scene. 

The trio holds the mastery of enhancing a crowd with a multitude of tools and elements.The shape of their sound, bolded with low ends, is fusing Techno and Jazz into an electric jam outlined by magical madness and improvisation. When back in studios, Wareika has a sturdy work ethic that has brought them to release on many respected labels, as diverse as Perlon, Visionquest, Tartlet, Eskimo. Circus Company, Future Classic among many others...

Wareika are  natural born performers.
Get into this great piece of pure jam and improvisation that will guide you through lots of different shades of house and techno, intricate patterns and a whole lot of soul.

Stefano Andriezzi_

On this occasion we present you another of the most interesting and upcoming South American talents, we are talking about non other than Stefano Andriezzi , a good friend and really talented Dj/ Producer, who has shared with us this exclusive session.

Stefano was born in Venezuela and later settled in Buenos Aires, where he managed to position himself as one of the most influential artists of the electronic scene. With more than a decade of experience in the music scene, Stefano has achieved a lot throughout his career, having performed in some of the most important clubs of Argentina.

Stefano is a part of the record label “Strain” and also co-founder of “Island Beats Music”, record label on which he has released several of his own productions. 

His passion for vinyl and his ability to create unique and immersive sessions that combine genres like electro, house, acid house and techno with a perfect narrative have become his personal brand.

As a music lover and with his tireless search for new sounds, Stefano has recently traveled around Europe, where he has been able to experience and be nourished by a whole new variety of musical influence which he merges with his love for 90’s music in his own productions getting support of big names of the scene as Anthea and Charlotte to name a few.

We recommend keeping an eye on Stefano, he will definitely surprise you with his musical taste and human charisma, for us it’s more than a delight to see talented friends growing artistically while sharing their passion. Please sit back, grab a drink and enjoy another great session.

For this next episode, we are glad to announce an exclusive set who will guide us through acid, house, techno and breaks, by non other than Estimulo,an avid record digger and die-hard music aficionado with extensive vaults of records
since the late 80s. 

His club DJ sets seem to always be on the lookout for those special moments of dancefloor salvation, oscillating between Deep House and Techno’s classics and more obscure electronic treasures, with splashes of Electro & Disco / Funk and with an extended broad perspective on genres and epochs not forgetting recent and upcoming gems. It’s not purely a retrofuturistic thing, rather he strives to connect music of different epochs to form a holistic flow. His special passion is to make his own edits / versions of the music he loves. With his label Mixomat Recordings (founded in 2004) he has been putting out early releases by artists such as Marco Nega, immer.Chic (Workshop), Rezkar (Running Back, Meakusma) and Serendipity/Rai Scott (Inner Shift Music / 2DeepSoul).

His weekly Radio Show (EstimuloShow @ mixomat.org since 2007, also on Cashmere Radio since 2017) is regarded as a mainstay by many in the scene.
The last years have seen Estimulo taking the vibe to places like the US, Chile, Argentina, Australia, UK, France, Canada, Norway, Poland, Ukraine and Jordan on his DJ tours. Estimulo used to co-run the futura event agency and DJ crew, that has been causing some stir in the Berlin scene with their proceedings in beloved underground spots.

So just drop everything that you’re doing and turn up the volume cause this is definitely deserves all your attention !

We’re back, and as usual, we’re happy to present another underground artist that has been shaking up dance floors for a while now!

All the way from Uruguay, we bring you Federico Ramos AKA Fefio. DJ, collector, and music lover in its broadest spectrum, with a clear focus on dancefloor management, inspired by his mentor and greatest artistic influence, DJ Koolt.

In 2010, he moved to Barcelona, where he began collecting his first records. He continued his career as part of the M.E.R (Montevideo Electric Recordings) collective, holding a residency at the Montevideo club Phonotheque and participating in major local events such as Senderos, Formato, Legends, Warehouse, Pulse, Reyes del Beat, among others.

His sets create deep atmospheres, traversing various genres and navigating between House and Techno, with strong Dub influence, powerful basslines and trance as the backbone of his selection, without forgetting the soul of Detroit and the solidity of Chicago sounds.

So please take a moment, sit down, and enjoy this hour longtrip into madness!

Fefio (UY) - Rawbeats Podcast 18

Night falls, the lights dim, and the Extrasensorial Catalog presents its third chapter—an eclectic VA built for late hour mind-bending moments on the dancefloor.
 
On the A side, we open with Dani Labb and his explosive contribution "Rin Raje", a raw, hypnotic roller designed to twist minds and bodies alike. Saturated grooves, razor-sharp percussion and just the right amount of darkness make this an undeniable peak-time must.
 
A2 features the Italian craftsman Niki IL B with "Monte Moggio", a mystical excursion into deep, textured terrain. This track feels like wandering through fog-covered hills at dawn—delicate, groovy, and haunting in the best possible way.
 
Flip to the B side, and Ludovic wastes no time with "Vitesse, Argent, Sexe (5am Mix)", a late-night anthem soaked in tension and sweat. Pulsating basslines and seductive rhythms carry you into a euphoric state where the rules no longer apply.
 
Closing things off is Kebab Traume with "Mindlock", a cerebral journey that merges dreamy pads, off-kilter drumwork and warped melodies—like stepping into a lucid dream you never want to wake up from. An ideal closer for those deep after-hours rituals.
