It feels like it was only yesterday that i was in that place 

Magic shows don't quite feel the same as they once did when I was just that age but I can sleep all the way through the night without waking up to hear my parents fight 
and I'll take that tonight 

I drove past the house that I grew up in 
And I'm not sure I'm glad I visited back here 
It looked different than I'd remembered it 
And it brought back way too many things that I'd prefer to forget
