The magic of Hollywood and stardom intertwine with the lofi motion of the dance floor under Eloi’s Smile EP. Prominent vocal samples from the big screen’s most refined stars blend effortlessly with the French producer’s meticulously crafted house grooves. Each track is a tectonic chapter offering up a distinctive mood, making the EP feel like a journey in danceable emotion. Eloi himself says the project consists of “nostalgia, depth, and tension. While keeping it happy, and warm”. “Smile” marks Midtown House’s third release, and will be available June 26th.

Sound Transitions is very proud to present a heavy hitting EP from Efxka. The EP, entitled Spleen EP, is five tracks of precise yet emotional deep house. Efxka knows how to set a real mood and her talents are on full display throughout. Demonstrating excellent skill at taking the listener on a journey, Efxka uses simple and extremely effective combinations of chords to transport you to wherever she wants you to be. Once you're there, she assures that your hips will be moving in time with her thumping kicks and slithering bass lines. Everything appears glossy on the surface, but dig a little deeper and you'll find an unsated feeling of longing, loss, nostalgia, and dare we say even a bit of joy.
