Weltkrieg  is an EBM/Noize - Industrial collaborative project. The first incarnation of the band took place in 2008 & consisted of John Lohr (Svut[Kor], Slayv Axis) drum editing/sequencing, distortions, track assembly & Jon Yaqub (Dark Sun, Negative Kontrol) Synth leads, Pads & Additional Drums. Due to life circumstances, Jon Yaqub was unable to continue providing his synths to the project after the initial 5 songs. In 2009 he was replaced with Gregorie Krieg (Fatal Rupture) for an additional 3 songs + a remix. All of the 2008-2009 tracks with Lohr, Yaqub & Krieg were released on a limited edition self-titled CD debut on Lohrs Powernoise record label Soviet Media Kontrol in 2009. The project was then put on hold with no further output until 2011. The newest line-up for this 3rd incarnation of Weltkrieg sees the loss of Gregorie Krieg & the addition of Mike Void (Spit Static) providing synth leads & occasional pads.
