For a while now, DJ BONEY S and zikade have been playing with the idea of merging their respective sounds. It wouldn’t be the first time these two share the decks, though: under the name of DJ Frottée, they recently started a vinyl only project dedicated to classic 90ies underground from techno to trance.
Finding the spaces where their individual sets collide, their new vinyl only back2back project Hypnotist will be a journey from techno, EBM and industrial to dark italo and disco-heavy electro. Sharing a deep understanding of the other one‘s musical taste and a similar vision for the dance floor, Hypnotist are excited to create something fresh!

Born and raised in Czech Republic, Kristina has been living in Berlin for over a decade now. The former hobby bass player and classical singer started discovering techno shortly before she relocated to Berlin. Her taste has since evolved and has been heavily influeced by the harder hitting techno played in Berlin clubs. After meeting BLVSH members, she has found a new happy place – electro and breakbeat. 

Kristina performing under the alias Ká has only started djing somethig over a year ago and can't wait to see where it will take her. She is not afraid to step outside of her typical genre, but she does appreciate a smooth flow in her sets to keep the bodies sailing.

Tissling (Voitax/Berlin) and Stomp (KFPNYX/ Leipzig) are bonded by a long friendship and their passion for music and curating events with the thuringia based collective kfpnyx from the very first minute. While their solo sound displays rather different directions, they have found some common ground around the realms of Jungle and DnB. Therfore they teamed up in the east of Leipzig for some Spagetti w/ Anchovis and recorded this journey through heavy hitting basses, rolling drums, granular pads, loaded with lots of energy. Next on our "Invites" series, we're thrilled to welcome No Hard Feelings, known for their distinctive blend of Dark Disco, EBM, and Italo Body Music. 

No Hard Feelings is a Berlin based DJ/Producer Duo, consisting of Arlenys and LB/LB.
Since the day they've met, they bonded over their love to synth music. Taking inspirations from both: The cheerful darkness of synthpop as well as the roughness of Berlin's industrial scene, they deliver unique DJ Sets which create a playful yet gloomy atmosphere.

They have kindly answered the follwing question for us: 
Can you name a track that is special to you and why? 

"After the first third of the mix, we had already played quite a couple of tunes we like that are fun and danceable but I felt like now is the time to bring out a song that says “Hey! We’re here, we dig darkwave and we hope you do too”
Then I played “Tears” by @boy-harsher . Every time I hear that song it reminds me of one late night bike ride I had from Neukölln back home to Lichtenberg in 2020, where I listened to that specific album.
This song came up when I was crossing the river, I got off my bike and enjoyed a moment of me being completely alone in that bridge, looking on the Spree and the Treptower Park.

I heard of quite a couple of friends who have similar experiences and emotions to that boy harsher album, may it not be a bike ride but a road trip in their car or just a rainy evening alone on the sofa. Furthermore, Boy Harsher is a great influence to Arlenys and me, we both enjoy their music and live sets very much.

I hope this song gets peoples’ attention, making them feel right at home and preparing them for the next parts of the mix which are coming up."
