Psalm 67 (Oasis Chorale)

"Care-charming Sleep" is a contemporary madrigal on a text by John Fletcher (1579-1625) and was the winner of the Third Annual Choral Composition Competition by the Toronto-based Exultate Chamber Singers.  It was premiered and recorded under the direction of John Tuttle at St. Thomas's Anglican Church.

Care-charming Sleep (Exultate Chamber Singers)

This setting of text adapted from Psalm 90 was commissioned by and for conductor Franklin Miller and the Minerva Community Choir upon their 10th anniversary season. This recording features the 2018 SCMC Mass Choir conducted by Wendell Glick, with soloist Debbie Mann.

The Stars Declare His Glory (Tapestry Chamber Singers)

Wendell is a composer, choir director, and music educator, with a particular interest in contemporary hymnody and choral music.  He holds degrees in music composition from Wilfrid Laurier University (BMus), the University of Toronto (MMus) and Western University (PhD), and has taught at Western University, the University of Toronto Scarborough, Faith Builders Educational Programs, Calvary Bible School, and Shenandoah Institute for Music and Art.  Wendell  enjoys model trains, tree houses, aviation, Lego bricks, rainy days, puzzles, and life with his beautiful wife Janelle and their four lively children.
