I wrote this song after hearing an interview on the radio with Marita Maharaj - who is the wife of Kris Maharaj, a British citizen who was unjustly imprisoned in the US in 1987 for two murders he didn't commit. Now 80 years old, Kris has been in prison for over thirty years. This is a huge miscarriage of justice which has virtually destroyed their lives - please find out more and support their campaign.
