My Dreams Wander, My Soul Weeps

ProtoU & Oljus join forces on this Viking inspired dark ambient album. Ritual drumming and deep drone echo through dark forest and underground caves.

Welcome to the heart of the Nordic forests, where the rustling of leaves and the cool breeze fill your senses. You breathe in the rich, earthy scent of pine, as you survey the towering trees that surround you.

The night sky is a deep, velvet black, punctuated by the glimmering of stars. They cast a soft, ethereal light on the clearing, as if observing the mysterious events about to unfold.

The forest is alive with the sound of chanting, a distant hum, growing louder and more intense as it approaches. Drums join in and reverberate through your chest.

You watch, mesmerized, as the elders perform the ritual, their movements fluid and otherworldly. Their raspy voices rise in unison, the chanting builds to a fever pitch as they summon forth powers from beyond the veil.

The old gods watch from Valhalla to lend their blessings to fight new gods that smell of flowers, and not mead.

Pär Boström of cult project Kammarheit presents us with his side project Cities Last Broadcasts second album, The Humming Tapes 

On this album Pär Boström explores his fascination with old seances and the early 20th century. Reel-to-reel tape recorders and de-tuned instrumentation combined with modern mixing techniques creates an album that sounds haunted, but also careful and nurturing. 

Pär has with this work taken yet another step forward in his production skill set squashing any doubt that he is one of the most unique artists in the genre with his unorthodox approach to recording his sounds.

The Unknown (NEW ALBUM OUT NOW at Cyclic Law 142nd Cycle)

It has been ten years since the last communications were received from the Deep Space Mission for Colonial Expansion led by Executive Director Professor Yannis Tarknassus. The outcome of the mission remains a mystery, its status unknown. A follow up mission of search and recovery is now underway, led by Dr Phoenix Macrae, son of the Chief Science Officer of the previous mission, Dr Hector Macrae.

Interplanetary chronicles the search and recovery mission as it travels through space to its intended destination of Proxima Centauri b in the Alpha Centauri star system.

Deep space travel requires extreme technologies and the specialised deployment of unique scientific principles in order to secure time-bending relative motions though the spacetime continuum. The effects of this on the human cerebrum, as experienced by the space flight crews and their passengers, are both strange and compelling. As part of the scientific remit of the search and recovery mission, a team of scientists are conducting ground-breaking telekinetic thought-rendering experiments, using Phoenix Macrae as their principal subject matter, in an attempt to catalogue the collateral impact of deep space travel on the human psyche.

Interplanetary also documents several radical spacetime shifts where the phantasmagoria of Ruptured World is infiltrated by the explosive cyberpunk energy fusions of In Quantum.
