Dedicating this cover to my Mama... :) Thought I'd do a little virtual serenade in time for Mother's Day with her favorite song. <3

Chinito (Yeng Constantino) (Acoustic Cover)

Oh, this is what Juliette and Avery did to me. This is the first song I’ve ever written for fictional TV characters. 

For starters, Juliette Barnes and Avery Barkley are part of the musical drama “Nashville,” played respectively by Hayden Panettiere and Jonathan Jackson. Theirs was a love grounded on friendship, bringing out the best in each other. Juliette is a young country superstar who's misunderstood by many but wants nothing but be respected, taken seriously… appreciated for who she is and for what she’s got. Avery has been trying to make it big, working at the Bluebird Cafe while looking to score gigs to make ends meet. They’ve had their share of regretful pasts that they’ve come to embrace. Eventually they both realized that they love each other. 

One day things got a little rocky… And Juliette, being the one-step-forward-two-steps-backward kind that she is, committed something that just might shatter such a precious relationship. Huhuhu. And so I wondered how and what would she tell Avery to let him know how much she regrets what she's done, how much she's willing to make up for it, and how much she loves him.

The song, written in Juliette's point of view, takes off from Episode 21, “All or Nothing with Me.”
