The world has been turned upside down, and after a year and half of hopes
being crushed and plans being scrapped, it's hard to have anything to smile
about these days. But we can find some happiness in one thing. And that's
the fact that through every ramshackle road map out of this madness,
through every peak and trough we have experienced, through every sigh
we've let out in the middle of the morning. We can always stay positive.

Bristol based garage rock quartet PARKAS have written a song that should
serve as a reminder for anyone that may have forgotten this simple but
essential fact. With a chorus as infectious as COVID-19 itself, you will be
hard pressed not to find yourself singing it all the way to your nearest
vaccination centre. Feral guitars, melodic bass, pounding drums all
combine with a spiteful gritty vocal delivery to make this a song a
testament to a generation that has just suffered its first most painful
setback, and is now chomping at the bit to make up for the lost time.

Written before the pandemic hit, the band have been waiting for almost
two years to release 'Pos'tive' into the world, are you ready to hear it?
