About Moish

Moish is an established DJ/Producer Born & Raised In Lephalale but currently residing in Johannesburg, Moish started making music early 2012. His love for music started when he was in primary school and was inspired by the likes Of Oskido Back in the days And His passion for House Music was drawn from the likes Of B.O.P. Moish Was also part of Lunar Folks from 2013 to 2019. He released music all over the world under his own record label "Moish Records". He released most of his work through Lunar Folks, His work reached one of the biggest radio stations In SA such as YFM, 5FM. Ahead of the release of his album entitled ‘+’, Swiss multi-instrumentalist Jimi Jules teases us with the first, mesmerizing and most sought-after single of the last month, entitled ‘My City’s On Fire’ executively produced by label boss Dixon. The artwork concept is developed and designed by iconic graphic artist Trevor Jackson, whose multi-disciplinary works formed the graphical identities of design, music, fashion and art by the likes of Soulwax, Massive Attack and HFD / Comme des Garcons.

A perfect match for ‘My City’s On Fire’ with its bold, razor-sharp synth lead and low-slung indie/disco live drumming. Jules touches on heritage dance genres while fusing in futuristic sounds and surreal lyricism throughout, amalgamating to a truly unique and danceable experience that embodies his clear abilities as a musician, vocalist, and producer all in one.

My Other Side of the Moon's November release is a very special one. To begin with, "Desert" is a first of its kind: an afro-house pearl, both melodic and rhythmic, harmonious and balanced, it will conquer tastemakers from many genres. The original mix is a synthesis of these qualities, coming from the hands, minds and hearts of Davide Ferrario and Dalai, bright musicians. Second, it is special because it summoned all our favorite artists from My Other Side of the Moon and beyond. The afro-king Enoo Napa happily offered us an energetic pure afro-house interpretation you would want to hear in every club you step into. Rhythm "a la Enoo Napa"  is dominant, while the harmony builds up and the break takes the breath away. While the inconfundible voice of Dalai is a constant, Neil Amarey and Breeze and The Sun's remix give Desert their passionate touch, with some delightful guitar melodies and a light afro flair. Last, but not least, Breeze and The Sun and Mike Dem experiment together a deep melodic darker version, a blast of energy with a touching break where choirs and strings develop together to merge into an elegant and powerful ending.
