Werner Gruber OMNI THRILLER
OMNI THRILLER ist der Titel der im Web veröffentlichten EP. 
Dem Titel nach ist der Track ein Thriller für ALLE und das GANZE. 
Das OMNI THRILLER - Projekt wurde vor der Katastrophe im japanischen FUKUSHIMA komponiert und gemischt,  während tagelang die Übertragungen vom Zunami, der Atomkatastrophe und den Auswirkungen für die Bevölkerung und das Meer den Alltag bestimmten. So ist OMNI THRILLER für Werner Gruber  unfreiwillig-visionär zum Soundtrack für diese schreckliche Katastrophe geworden. 
Eine Weiterarbeit in Richtung SCORE, FILMMUSIK, mit zusätzlichen hybriden und orchestralen Klangfarben und  epischen Instrumentarien ist im Gange.

Werner Gruber hätte es ursprünglich eigentlich lieber gesehen als Wohlstandskinder-THRILLER für ALLE:
horizonterweiterndes ROADMOVIE, als CITYSOUND in einem Stadtgeländewagen, für das Headset von Inlinern, Outsourcern, City-Outdoorfreaks oder Basejumpern.
HÖRTIPPS: Nachts an der Isar, Elbe,Spree, Rhein...über Kopfhörer gehört...alternativ während eines Falschirmsprungs, beim Paragliding, Surfen oder bei einer Reise mit einem Tragschrauber über das Alpenvorland vom Königssee, über Chiemsee, Walchensee, Alpsee bis zum Bodensee.

Werner Gruber ist Composer, Performer und Klangkünstler mit einem Faible für  Experimente im Übergangsbereich. Wenn er nicht gerade an seinem SOUNDHALL - Projekt plant (Interaktive Klangausstellung), stürzt er sich zur Erholung in das kompostieren von Klängen in Soundtracks, wie zuletzt mit OMNI THRILLER.
Die Evolution und Expansion der Musik des 21. Jahrhunderts interessiert ihn in so unterschiedlichen Bereichen wie Experimentelle Musik, Neue Musik, Improvisation, Surround, Progressiv Rock oder Electronics.
Ein Motto von Gruber: 
„Wenn es einen Ort gibt, wo noch kein Mensch einen Fuß hingesetzt hat und ich habe die Chance es zu tun, dann mach ich diesen Schritt.“ Ausgetretene Pfade sind für Regenwald-Abholzer und Innenstadtgeländewagenführer.

INVERSAL LOOPS was played for the first time of the actiongroup for NEW MUSIC, Trostberg, directed by Bernhard Zörner. The young performers played on a special run-out-metallophone or surround-metallicphone with various wood and aluminium sticks and rubbing sticks (and a lot of triangles). The official premiere was at the KLANGAKTIONEN NEW MUSIC-Festival Munich in the academy of the fine arts, June 1998.

The Titel ATARAXIA is inspired by the phantastic track "Ataraxia" of Klaus Doldinger´s PASSPOR, because Klaus Doldinger is one of my favorite childhood-heroes. Ataraxia means GREAT SERENITY and to "stay totally relaxed and in balance".
My track have 3 Dimensions: 1. evolving soundscapes, 2. the band,3.  the solists (voice, flute, synth).
