i,ve been playing guitar since i was 1o years old, there is little else that satisfies the soul like playing an instrument. i love any and all music be it opera or death metal, as long as there is something interesting happening in the piece then my ears start to tingle.

my music is varied, as i said above if it sounds good i go with it and see where it takes me. if i create a ambient track then i let it flow as i enjoy a long track to chill out to. if i'm creating a virtuoso guitar piece then i find a riff and let it develop. i admire Indian/eastern music, the sounds and textures grab me and the flow of music. a raga can be hours long and still hold my interest as the musician speaks to me through scales and modes.

of course Joe Satriani and Steve Vai have been a massive influence on my technique and have lead me to find new inspiration from further afield. once my eyes were opened to these amazing players, the likes of Paul Gilbert,John Petrucci and Guthrie Govan soon followed suit .

these players are blessed with fearsome technique but a soulful ear to reign in the excess. (although as a guitarist,nothing beats the thrill of nailing a kick ass solo live!)

my goal is to produce a body of work to join the leagues of the above one day and share my musical vision with the world.
