Bio.

Newcastle upon tyne Dj.
Djing since 1996
Started Djing early rave and Hardcore, house, trance and hard house
I had a little hiatus from djing whilst doing the family thing but came back to play mostly techno, hard techno, tech house, old skool rave and acid.
Early influences that have shaped my sound going forward would be Carl Cox, Joey Beltram, Dj Easygroove.
Recently I have done podcasts for Waxxa Records, fnoobtechno.com, technoXcitement and a radio slot on DJ Techneck's NRG Radio all of which I'm very grateful.

Bio

Started getting interest in dance music around 1994 listing to groups/bands prodigy from that point I started to get interested in more club type music and the transition happen from listening to clubbing when I bought Gatecrasher black CD in 1998, shortly after I went clubbing to Gatecrasher in Sheffield. After a year or so I started to broaden my music styles listening to Techno, breakbeat and Psytrance. my first interest in DJing happen in 1999 where I saved solid for 6 months to buy some technics SL1210 with an Allan & Heath zone 32 mixer. I practiced for 4 years playing at people’s houses and house parties. Around the some time as dance music became more commercial I started clubbing in the underground seen around Yorkshire and Lancashire this also included free parties.

Over time I managed to secure 2 residencies at Binary in Manchester (hard trance/techno) and Planet Zogg in Sheffield (psytrance/techno) I played out on and off for 5 years. As I started to think about starting a family, I began to look at Music production something I could do from home. After producing tracks for a few years, I created a Label (smiles Tonic Records) and released under the names of Sheldon Dearn, Sweet Digital, 40 Fathoms, Fake fusion, and Acrylic. I produced for 4 years on and off before having to concentrate on work.

This bring me to now were having music on tap through Apple music etc, I decided to buy some DJ equipment to mix the tune I like.

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.
