West Taylor is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer (Moe Reen, Sean Marshall, Gilded Sun) and an equine ranch hand who grew up on Deer Creek outside of Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Taylor is heavily influenced by the Appalachian voices he heard in the church as he looked up to the archetypal singing cowboys he and his grandfather watched on TV. West continues the reverberation of his love for Mountain Music and the Country cassettes his family listened to on the road. Taylor is also the founder of Space Canoe Records
